Off to the "Pen"

Did you ever want to see the inside of the Missouri State Penitentiary in Jefferson City without actually being arrested? Now is your chance! This trip is not for everyone though. You must be able to stand, walk and climb stairs without stopping for a 2 hour period. You will also be asked to wear a hardhat and sign a release form. We will also have a tour of the Governor's Mansion with lunch at the Prison Brews with beer sampling. We will also have an icecream stop at the famous Central Dairy. You will be amazesed at the facts you will learn about the old penitentiary. You are welcome to bring your cameras on this tour. There is only 20 people allowed on this tour at a time. Call and make your reservation as soon as possible.

Circus Flora

Ready for the Circus? We're not running away but we are going to visit. First we'll visit the Loop District where we can look at the eclectic shopd and eat lunch. There's lots of different types of restaurants from which to choose, so you will be on your own for lunch. We will attand a matinee performance of Circus Flora. A one ring Eastern-European style circus produced in St. Louis since 1987. This Circus is unique because it is accompanied by a live orchestra.

Do you enjoy a good BBQ, music and fireworks? Do you hate the bugs and the heat? Come with us and avoid both the bugs and the heat. You won;t have to do the cooking either. We are going to the Crowne Plaza Hotel downtown and enjoy a nice BBQ and live entertainment in the air-conditioned room. We will watch the fireworks from the outside balcony on top of the hotel.
